Seymour Duncan.
This is the manufacturer of the pickups on our guitar.
The bridge pickup is the SH-4 JB. The neck pickup is the
SH-2 Jazz. Here you'll find some specifications and sound
samples.
Ernie Ball strings.
Our guitar has "Super Slinky" strings. They were installed
on March 21. Here you'll find the string gauges (which translates
to diameters) and a vague
description of how the strings are constructed.
Music Man Axis guitar specifications.
Our guitar is a very cheap copy of this instrument, with essentially the
same physical dimensions. Perhaps the most important difference
(aside from quality, beauty, feel,...) is
that our guitar does not have the Floyd Rose bridge and nut.

This is a really wonderful book. You'll be tempted to read
all about drums, pianos, etc., but try to stick the the parts
directly concerning guitars.
